A Street Fighter Mugen Edition két szériái a magyar MUGEN játékok legíresebbike. A Darkwork Production 2007 tavaszán döntött úgy, hogy elkészíti első MUGEN játékát, a Street Fighter Mugen Edition 2007-t (ezt még anno Street Fighter MUGEN3 Edition-nek hívták), aminek második verziója rá egy évvel készült el. Külföldön a Street Fighter Mugen Edition 2007 v2.0-ról hallottak először, ami igen hamar nagy népszerűségnek örvendezett, de nem olyan nagynak, mint a Street Fighter Mugen Edition 2008, ami 2008 nyarán készült el. Ez már felkerült a legnagyobb ingyenes játékletöltő portálokra (mint pl. a caiman.us-re), és nagyon sok helyen toplistás, sőt néhol No.1-s játéknak számított.
A Street Fighter Mugen Edition 2007 v1.0, v1.5, és a v2.0 igazából egy komplett karakter és pálya pakkja a Street Fighter játékoknak, különleges kerettel, a 2008-s verzió, már ennél több; új karakterek, pályák és stílus párosul a Street Fighter világához e szoftver tartalmában.
